Okay, let me say first that this is not as funky as Volume 1 but there are many good reasons why this should be a part of your record collection. "That's Nice", "Open House" and "Up To Date" are absolute pop gems, "Two Lane Blacktop" and "International Flight" take us back to a time when getting from A to B was sexy and fun, "Light My Fire" and "I Can See For Miles" are totally groovy cover songs. Plus there is "At The Sign Of The Swinging Cymbal" which has been sampled by the Jungle Brothers. The inclusion of Keith Mansfield, Syd Dale and The Paris Studio Group add further weight to a comprehensive look back at what made 60's and 70's English library music so appealing to generations of groovers and crate diggers.
