Here I am, back once again with a carefully crafted selection of library music, rare groove and more. Volume 3 keeps things uptempo and playful with the emphasis on breakbeats. Two of the more interesting tracks are "Phunky Fanfare" which is Si Begg's take on the Keith Mansfield classic and "Alive", a sublime mashup of my favourite Beastie Boys track with "Beat Me 'Til I'm Blue" by Alan Hawkshaw. Other highlights include the full on rave that is "Metropolis". the creeping "Wild Cat Walk" and just for something different - the theme to "Knight Rider". I hope you enjoy the grooves, be sure to leave a comment if you do. This looks stellar, as usual. Kudos for starting the setlist with one of Steve Gray's best tracks. So many great composers in there.

BTW, I dig the new banner. :)

Thanks for your mix aswell. It had a very strong 1976/77 vibe running through it. Where did you get that Sesame Street track from? It was killer!

I got that particular one from Fraykers several years ago. As I'm sure you're aware, he's been funkin' up the blogsphere for awhile now. I especially enjoy his kung fu compilations. At any rate, I'm glad you approve of the mix. Next time I'll have a motif, perhaps Italian cinema or something of the kind.

There's just too much quality out there. Phew!

Oh yeah, if you want that Sesame Street music, I can send it tomorrow (if someone else doesn't beat me to it).

Yeah, that would be cool. I'm especially after that 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 pinball song from the show. Is that included?

Mr. Craig, I dunno. It's been such a long time since I've given it a listen. That one track that was in the mix I had left on my computer for some time. At any rate I found the full album last night and already sent it your way. Aside from that, I'll finish up the new mix over the weekend.

I love the Beastie Boys Mashup - I have one with them and the Jackson Sister's - It's well worth checking out! The last track 'Zombie March' is a stormer - really funky sax and trombone! I have attached a link to the Pinball Counting Song http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WB45CAWG

By the way Budd, Zombie March was meant to be the 8th of 16 tracks, did my tagging not work?

Yes 'Zombie March' is correctly marked track #8 but it plays alphabetically when played through mediaplayer (therefore it's last). I will listen to the comp again (in track order): as if your'e anything like me the track order is just as important as the selection of tracks themselves! Thanks for highlighting that.
