This is the 2007 sequel to the highly popular "Bite Hard" compilation and it continues to dig into the De Wolfe archives. The first half of the disk has quite a bit of crossover with the Sound Book CD which I will be posting in the future. "Funky Spider" is a personal favourite of mine, elsewhere Alan Parker provides a typically cool groove on "Crater", Keith Papworth returns with another heavy bass number that has some interesting drumming, "Hammerhead" will be familiar to hip hop fans from the sample used by Ugly Duckling and "Motives 1" sounds like it came straight from the "Logan's Sanctuary" CD.
While it's more comprehensive than "Bite Hard" it just doesn't have the same continuity and impact of the original. Having said that, it is still a must have for library music fans and in particular those who are passionate about De Wolfe.
