STEROID MAXIMUS - ECTOPIA

Download here

Track 1 - The Trembler
Track 2 - Seventy Cops
Track 3 - L Espion Aui A Pleure'
Track 4 - Naught
Track 5 - Chain Reaction
Track 6 - Bad Day In Greenpoint
Track 7 - Aclectasis
Track 8 - Tarmac A Grisigris
Track 9 - Pusher Jones
Track 10 - WM
Track 11 - Chaiste
Track 12 - Enzymes

I'm always up for a bit of modern crime funk/jazz but I was rather disappointed by "Ectopia". There are plenty of interesting elements at play but most of the time they are diluted or manipulated in a way that feels clinical. Tracks 6 to 10 provide some joy though, particularly the wonderful "Pusher Jones" with its rolling piano, horn and vibes. You will probably find yourself picking out the best tracks and deleting the rest but give it a download and see what you think.

Even though I'm not a huge fan of "Chain Reaction" I decided to post the video below because it includes footage from a bunch of Atari 2600 games that I own.

Hell, 4shared now requires a login. Screw that. I hope you can find another file service.

Thanks for this! I used to listen to Steriod Maximus in the 90s and haven't thought about them since then.

I agree with Armpit, why on earth are we using a file host that requires people to sign up and log in? there are plenty of others such as sharebeast.

I pulled the link off Rapidfiles or one of those sites. There were two dead Mediafire links I couldn't use. Not going to go to the trouble of reuploading it myself.

All we are saying is that the host used in this instance requires a sign up and log in, is this how we are going these days?

I don't have a problem with registering but I can understand why people would not want to do that due to privacy and other reasons.

Things are still changing rapidly - Mediafire has blocked access from Mirrorcreator, Wupload has suspended file sharing...I try my best to find links or upload on services that people like using. I can't always succeed though.

I've seen people using ShareBeast recently. It seems fast, allows multiple downloads at a time, and requires no login for downloaders. You might want to check into that and see what it's like.

I think you'll find I have mentioned about sharebeast already.
